Submitting a Job from the MVS Explorer

Submit JCL jobs from the MVS Explorer for execution directly on the mainframe.
  1. In the Remote Systems pane, expand the entry for your mainframe.
  2. Under MVS Explorer, expand the userid.BANKVSAM.JCL dataset either in the tree or table view.
  3. Right-click the JCL member to show the Submit option that will execute the job.

    We are not going to submit this member for execution, but try this functionality on your own JCL file and then use the JES Explorer to review the results.
