Restriction: This topic applies only when the AppMaster Builder AddPack has been installed, and applies only to Windows platforms.
- From the AppMaster Builder
Project Explorer, right-click either the Globals folder to create a global User Rule, or a program to create a local User Rule.
- In the
Name field, type a name for the User Rule.
- From the
Location drop-down list, select a program location where you want the User Rule to be inserted.
- Click
OK. This returns you to the
Project Explorer.
- From the
Project Explorer, double-click the new User Rule entry.
- In the Program Painter, type the code for the User Rule. You can use COBOL or S-COBOL.
- Save your code and exit the editor. AppMaster Builder saves the User Rule in the
USERMACS project subdirectory.
Note: You can also create a User Rule in Online Express.
