Monitoring data set information

Use the Remote Monitor view to monitor updates to partitioned, Panvalet and Librarian data sets contained within your catalog search filters. All the information can be displayed in table format, and checked for updates at intervals you can define.
If the Remote Systems window is not displayed, click Window > Show View > Remote Systems.
  1. In the Remote Systems window, log on to the mainframe.
  2. Expand Mainframe Explorer to show the catalog search filters.
  3. Right-click the required catalog search filter or item within the filter, then click Monitor. Information on each child item is displayed in a table view, in the Remote Monitor pane.
    Tip: Most actions available from the Remote Systems pane are also available from this pane.
  4. To monitor the items as they are updated, click Poll Configuration, then choose Poll and use the slider to set the Wait Interval (in seconds) that the display is refreshed.
