To generate a rule definition file for an analysis

If you want the rule definition file to include User Rules that are stored in directories other than the default User Rule directories, which are APSMACS and CNTL (both located by default under %ProgramFiles(x86)%\Micro Focus\Enterprise Developer\bin) and the CNTL and USERMACS project subdirectories, add the non-default directories to the list of searched directories before generating the rule definition file:

1. From the AppMaster Builder Project Explorer, right-click a project; then select Analysis Option > Rule Directory Selection.
2. Click Add and specify a directory you want to search.
3. In the same way, add or delete other directories as required.
4. Click OK.
