To delete a database target record from a data view

Restriction: This topic applies only when the AppMaster Builder AddPack has been installed, and applies only to Windows platforms.

If a desired data view contains multiple database target types (VSAM , SQL or IMS), you can delete one of the targets.

  1. In the Data View Explorer of the AppMaster Builder perspective, right-click on the target record you want to delete and choose Delete. A message box appears asking to confirm the deletion.
  2. Click OK to delete the target. The Data View automatically rebuilds after deleting a target.
