Start the Enterprise Server

To start the enterprise server:

  1. In Server Explorer, expand Micro Focus Servers and then localhost.
  2. Right-click the STAFF server, and click Start.
  3. If the Enterprise Server Sign On dialog is displayed, click OK without making any changes.

    The server is configured to display the enterprise server console, so the Enterprise Server Console Daemon appears and shows diagnostic messages about the startup process. If the Windows Firewall blocks the Micro Focus Communication Process, click Allow access.

  4. Check the status of the STAFF server in Server Explorer - when it has started, its icon changes to green.
