Download the following mainframe files to your local machine:
- The unloaded IMS database sequential file
- IMS application files, including all:
- COBOL source files
- Copybook files
- PSB source code
- DBD source code
- MFS source code
- IMS stage 1 definition file containing transaction definitions
Important: When downloading COBOL and MFS source code, be sure to account for special characters. For example, the IBM mainframe 'not
sign' relational operator for logical paging conditions is not on the PC keyboard, and therefore requires special handling.
You might need to manually fix some characters using a text editor.
