Setting a data set type

If the Mainframe Explorer window is not displayed, click View > Mainframe Explorer.

In the Mainframe Explorer window, log on to the mainframe.
Expand the required search filter to display the data sets.
Right-click the required data set, then click one of the following:
- Sequential
- Partitioned
- Source control > Librarian
- Source control > Panvalet
- VSAM > Keyed
- VSAM > Entry
- VSAM > Relative
- Unloaded IMS Database
- Unloaded DB2 Database
The appropriate icon is displayed next to the data set.
