- In Solution Explorer, expand the project to show the 
                  		  .jcl file. 
                  		
               
- Right-click the 
                  		  .jcl file and click 
                  		  Submit JCL. 
                  		  
                  If the associated server is not already running, depending on the settings in 
                     			 Tools > Options > Micro Focus > Enterprise Server, one of the following happens:
                     		  
                    
                     		  
                      
                        			 
                        - If the 
                           				Automatically start the associated server option is checked, the server is started. 
                           			 
                        
- If the 
                           				Automatically start the associated server option is not checked, you are prompted to start the server. 
                           			 
                        
  and, if the option is not checked, you must start the server manually and resubmit the 
                     		   .jcl file. 
                     		  
                   
 
- If you are prompted to start the server, click 
                  		  OK. 
                  		  
                  When the server is running, the 
                     			 .jcl file is submitted to the spool queue, and its progress displayed in the Output window; click the link to display the job
                     details in the spool. 
                     		  
                   
Tip: You can also drag 
               		.jcl files and drop them on the associated server, even if the 
               		.jcl file is not part of the current project. In this case, the enterprise server must be running.
