Compiling the COBOL Program

You need to compile the program in Enterprise Developer with the CICSECM(EXCI=YES) directive.

Note: If you are building from the Visual Studio IDE, do not check EXEC CICS COBOL tab of your project properties to set this directive, but instead type CICSECM(EXCI=YES) into the Additional Directives field.
