DB2 Connection tab
- Data Source Name
- Type a name for this connection.
- User ID
- Type the user ID you want to use for your DB2 database login.
- Password
- Type the password you want to use for your DB2 database login.
- Allow Saving ADO.NET Connection Password
- Set HCOSS to remember your ADO.NET password. When unchecked, the system prompts you for a password each time you connect from
other HCOSS tools.
- Network Address
- The IP address used on your network to connect to your mainframe DB2 database.
- Network Port
- The port number used to access your mainframe DB2 database.
- Initial Catalog
- The name of the catalog used by your DB2 database.
- Package Collection
- The name of the package collection your DB2 database connection uses to talk to mainframe DB2.
- Test
- Verify that the information you have specified on this tab is sufficient to create a working DB2 database connection.
- Save
- Create a DB2 ADO.NET connection based on the information you have specified on this tab.
