If the
Mainframe Explorer window is not displayed, click
.

In the
Mainframe Explorer window, log on to the mainframe.

Expand the required search filter to display the data sets.

Expand the required data set to show its members, if applicable.

Right-click the required data set or member, then click
Hide Item.
The item is moved to the Hidden Catalog Items view.
Note: Hiding the item is not the same as removing it from the display. You cannot view removed items until the catalog search filter
is refreshed, by using the
Refresh option or by logging off and back on to the mainframe, at which time, the removed items are located again by the catalog
search filter.
