To successfully deploy your Web services service interface, you must be sure that the CICSEXT enterprise server is started,
and then run the deployment process to copy all of the appropriate service interface files to the deployment area, enabling
the deployed service to run.
- On the Server Explorer, expand
Micro Focus Servers >
Localhost to show a list of available enterprise servers.
- Check to be sure that the CICSEXT enterprise server is started by right-clicking
CICSEXT. If it is stopped, click
Start.
- From the Solution Explorer, right-click the
CICSScreenWS service interface; then click
Deploy.
The Output window shows the progression of the deployment process. If deployment was successful, you should see a message
indicating success.
Note: If deployment ever fails, a message appears in the output window indicating why it failed. Also, the failure message contains
the path to the deployment log file. You can type the address into a browser and view the log file from there.
