To start a WebSphere MQ trigger monitor

  1. Copy the supplied file CSQ4TRMN.JCL to an appropriate location. This file can be found in the $COBDIR/src/enterpriseserver/ims/mq folder.
  2. Edit the QMGRNAME and INITQUEUENAME parameters to match the WebSphere MQ Queue Manager and Initiation Queue objects.
  3. Change the job class if required.
  4. Ensure that an initiator for the job class has been started.
  5. Submit CSQ4TRMN.JCL using the JCL Control Page under Enterprise Server Monitor and Control, or by using the cassub command.
