To define the MFS null character

  1. In ESCWA, open the Server Instance Properties: MSS IMS TM General page for your enterprise server region. See Server Instance Properties: MSS IMS TM General for details.
  2. In the MFS null character field, type an appropriate value.
    Note: You can override this value at transaction level.
  3. Click Apply.
Note: This task is value only when the codeset bias is set to ASCII.
