IMS Database Find dialog box
- Find field
- Type a text string to find. The hexadecimal representation of the string shows below the dotted line.
- Find button
- Click this to find the specified text string.
- Match case
- Check this to conduct a case-sensitive search.
- Left
- First byte offset of search area.
- Right
- Last byte offset of search area.
- Within offsets
- Limit search to the area defined by the values in the
Left and
Right fields.
- Use field
- Use selected field definition for find string and search area.
- Replace field definition for find string and search area.
- End
- Select a point in the database at which to end the search.
- Only look in
segment-name
- Check this to search only within the specified segment.
