Troubleshooting Data Tools

Attention: This topic applies to a feature that is in Early Adopter Program (EAP) release status. We intend to provide the finalized feature in a future release. Please contact OpenText Support for Micro Focus Products if you require further clarification.

If you encounter any issues while using Data Tools, try troubleshooting using the following suggestions.

Firstly, when you encounter an issue with the editor, try to restart the editor. To do this, click File > Exit and reopen Data Tools.
Enable tracing for logging purposes:
1. Open the .options file located in the Data Tools directory.
2. Set com.microfocus.datatools.core/debug=true within the Core section.
3. Open the file .
4. Type the following at the end of the file: -debug.
5. Save the file and return to the editor.
