The following restrictions apply when installing
Enterprise Developer with the default version of Eclipse shipped with it:
- Eclipse requires 64-bit Java 8 or 64-bit Java 9.
- Eclipse does not support Java 6 or Java 7. However,
Enterprise Developer can still use Java 7 or later to compile and run JVM COBOL or Java code.
