Enable Just-in-Time Debugging in Eclipse

  1. Click Window > Preferences > Micro Focus > COBOL > Debug.

    The Debug preferences pane is displayed.

  2. In the Just in time debugging options section, select Enable JIT debugging.
  3. Optional - select Show JIT launch configuration before debug to display the launch configuration options immediately prior to debug.
    Tip: To edit those options now, click Edit JIT launch configuration, and then set the defaults for a JIT debug session.
  4. Click Apply and Close. The next time a JIT debugger is required, Eclipse will be invoked.
