ILSMARTTRIM

This directive works in conjunction with ILSMARTLINKAGE, where it trims any trailing spaces from a string item returned by the get property associated with an alphanumeric item processed by ILSMARTLINKAGE.

Syntax:

None

Default:	NOILSMARTTRIM
IDE equivalent:	None. You can specify ILSMARTTRIM as an additional Compiler directive under Project > Properties > COBOL

Comments:

This directive has no effect on items that are not processed by the ILSMARTLINKAGE directive.
