Enterprise Developer provides a number of external features that support the VSE solution.
- CICS, IMS and DB2 are all supported.
- JCL USER EXIT - provides a means of passing control to a user written exit program at various stages in the job execution
when variables associated with the job can be viewed and updated.
- Printing - SPOOL files are made available to a printer exit along. For VSE, all associated $$ LST and $$PUN settings are available.

- MVS JCL - you can submit jobs that contain either MVS JCL or VSE JCL through the same server. (MVS and VSE JCL must not be
mixed in the same job). The system determines the type of JCL being submitted and processes it accordingly. This provides
access to all the MVS utilities and MVS-only processing, for example Generation Data Groups.
