Associating the Action Descriptors

You need to associate all action descriptors to the correct model objects so they are displayed in the Application Explorer view .

Associating TUTORIAL_ACT_RenameRes with TUTORIAL_ELE_EclipseFolder

You need to add the TUTORIAL_ACT_RenameRes to the TUTORIAL_ELE_EclipseFolder element type:

  1. In the Elements Type folder, right-click TUTORIAL_ELE_EclipseFolder, and then click New Child > Action .
  2. Right-click Action, and then click Edit

    This opens the Edit Properties dialog box.

  3. Double-click the Target ID value cell, and then click TUTORIAL_ACT_RenameRes.
  4. Double-click the Label value cell, and then type Rename Folder... .
  5. Click OK.

Associating TUTORIAL_ACT_RenameRes with TUTORIAL_ELE_EclipseFile

You need to add the TUTORIAL_ACT_RenameRes to the TUTORIAL_ELE_EclipseFile element type:

  1. In the Elements Type folder, right-click TUTORIAL_ELE_EclipseFile, and then click New Child > Action .
  2. Right-click Action, and then click Edit.
  3. This opens the Edit Properties dialog box.
  4. Double-click the Target ID value cell, and then click TUTORIAL_ACT_RenameRes.
  5. Double-click the Label value cell, and then type Rename File... .
  6. Click OK.
