To Start the Directory Server

Restriction: This topic applies to Windows environments only.
  1. Open the Windows Control Panel.
  2. Select Services; how you do this differs between Windows operating systems.
  3. In the list of services select Micro Focus Directory Server.
  4. Click Start.
Note: You would normally need to do this only if you stopped the Directory Server using the Services dialog. This is because the Directory Server is configured at installation time to start automatically when Windows starts.
