Configuring the COBOL Margins

To specify that the COBOL margins are to be visible in the editor:

1. In the IDE, click Tools > Options.
2. Expand Text Editor > Micro Focus COBOL, and then click Margins.
3. Ensure Show margins is checked.
4. Click OK.

To configure the color of the margins and the text in the margins:

1. In the IDE, click Tools > Options.
2. Expand Environment and click Fonts and Colors.
3. Ensure Show settings for is set to Text Editor.
4. In the Display items list, click COBOL Margin or COBOL Margin Text.
5. Set the font and the foreground and background colors for the items as desired.
6. Click OK.
