Deployer: Deploy a Mainframe Application with Assembler Support

Configuring an Enterprise Server instance for Assembler support:

  1. Ensure that your application is compiled - you use Enterprise Developer to develop applications.
  2. Create a Mainframe Subsystem enterprise server instance
  3. Configure the enterprise server for Assembler.
  4. Configure the server for any other technologies that your application uses such as CICS, JCL, and IMS.
  5. Start the enterprise server instance - from the Enterprise Server Administration home page or with the casstart from the command line.
  6. Use the Enterprise Server Monitoring and Control (ESMAC) tool to maintain resource definitions and to monitor and control your application.
  7. Use Micro Focus Rumba TN3270 terminal emulator to connect to your application
