The following restrictions apply to Distributed Transaction Processing:
- Process Initialization Parameter (PIP) data represented by the PIPLIST and PIPLENGTH operands for the CONNECT PROCESS and
EXTRACT PROCESS commands is not transmitted by
MSS, even though the operands are recognized by the
MSS preprocessor.
- Inbound transaction processing names can be no greater than four characters in length.
