In addition to creating and storing connections using the ADO.NET Connection Editor, you can also code and store connection
settings in one of the following configuration files:
- UserConnections32_v2.config for 32 bit, framework 2.0, 3.0, or 3.5 connections
- UserConnections64_v2.config for 64 bit, framework 2.0, 3.0, or 3.5 connections
- UserConnections32_v4.config for 32 bit, framework 4.0, 4.5, and 4.6 connections
- UserConnections64_v4.config for 64 bit, framework 4.0, 4.5, and 4.6 connections
- AzureConnections.config for Azure SQL Database connections
These files are located in
%LOCALAPPDATA%\Micro Focus.
