To view provider details

  1. Start the ADO.NET Connection Editor.
  2. On the menu bar, click Provider Information (Provider Information).
  3. On the Provider Information window, populate the Provider grid by selecting a provider type from the Type group.
  4. Optionally change the selection in the Framework (.NET providers only) or Availability groups to display alternative information in the Provider grid.
  5. When done viewing, click OK to close the Provider Information window.
