To generate an UPDATE statement

  1. Start the OpenESQL Assistant.
  2. Connect to a data source.
  3. Check the box next to a table name.
  4. Click UPDATE, then click OK.
  5. Check the box next to each column you want to include in the UPDATE statement.
  6. Further define the query using the Search Criteria feature. Optional.
