To Configure the Properties for a Source File

In addition to configuring project-wide properties, you can also configure properties at the source file level. Properties set at the source file level override any applicable project-level properties.
Note: You can set the same properties for multiple source files by selecting more than one file.

Use this procedure to configure source file properties.

  1. In the Solution Explorer in the right pane, right-click a source file or files and choose Properties. A dialog box appears with the available properties for the selected file or files.
  2. Set the properties as required, and click OK. The selected file or files' properties are set.
