Outlines support for SOAP Web services and EXCI, including limitations, installation, and use.

capability; however, this feature is not intended for production use and it is not supported as such.
The Enterprise Server for .NET SOAP Web services EXCI support includes the following features:
- Using a WSBIND file to enable CICS Web services-style SOAP data conversion for the input/output of an EXCI call
- Using channels and containers as input/output in an EXCI call
Limitation: As this functionality is a technology preview, SOAP support is still in development. It has been tested on simple program
structures and small amounts of data. Not all COBOL data types have been implemented.
