            To restrict regions with ESF you have two options: 
               	 
            
 
            	 
             
               		
               -  Use the default ES security configuration for the directory server. This ESF configuration and stack of security managers
                  will be applied to each region by default. See 
                  		  Defined External Security Managers and 
                  		  Default Security Facility Configuration for more information. 
                  		
               
- Alternatively, you can override the default option on a per region basis. See 
                  		  Security under the 
                  		  General chapter for more information.
