Mainframe Access includes the following components that allow you to work with programs and data on a mainframe:
- The
Automatic Synchronize and Compile (ASC) utility enables users to automatically synchronize components on the PC with components on the mainframe

Drag and Drop allows you to transfer files easily between mainframe and PC environments. It provides a simple drag and drop user interface
to do this.

Compare and Synchronization Monitor allows you to synchronize mainframe and PC versions of files. For example, changes made to PC-environment files can be configured
to synchronize with corresponding files in the mainframe environment, and vice versa.
- Mainframe Call Generator allows you to set up application to mainframe calls.
- The
Remote Job Step Execution (RJSE) facility enables execution of one or more steps of a job on a remote z/OS host

SourceConnect allows you to map a mainframe environment to a PC drive. With
SourceConnect for example, you can use applications running in a PC environment to access resources on a mainframe.
