You must install the DLC protocol on your server machine before you configure the Microsoft SNA Server software.

This procedure assumes that you have installed the SNA Server. If you have not already done this, install this software before
               proceeding.

Note: If the program cannot find the DLC Protocol files on your workstation, it will ask you to insert the Windows CD. Make sure
you have this CD on hand during this procedure.

When the installation is finished, the program will ask you to reboot the system. If this is a production machine, you may
want to schedule this task for a maintenance period or for off-peak hours.

Note: Micro Focus provides a sample configuration file,
xdb_novl.sna, for you to examine and use as a guide. This file is located in your XDB application directory. It defines an Ethernet connection
               to a network node.
