If you have a firewall on the remote machine, you need to add some inbound rules. First, ensure that port 86 is opened for
TCP and UDP protocols. Second, allow access through the firewall for the
cobdebugremote (32-bit environments) and
cobdebugremote64 (64-bit environments) programs. These programs reside in the
<install-dir>\bin directory.
