Create a catalog item

In Server Explorer, right-click the JES-enabled enterprise server, and select
Show Catalog.
The Catalog:<ES-name> tab is displayed.

Click
(Add data set entry).
The New Catalog dialog box is displayed.
- In the DS Name field, enter the data set name of the item.
- In the Physical File field, enter the local path and file name of the catalog item.

In the
DS Org,
RECFM,
Codeset,
LRECL, and
BLKSIZE, fields, enter the DCB attributes of the item.
Depending on the selected organization (DS Org), additional attributes are displayed: enter those, as appropriate.
- To catalog the item, select Catalog.
- Click OK.

Click
OK to confirm.
The new item is displayed in the catalog list.
