Note: This topic applies to variable-length data files only.
- In the Data File Editor unformatted view, select a record.
- Click
Edit > Data File Editor > Set Record Length.
- In the
New record length field, type a number that represents a valid value; then click
OK.
Note: If you have the
Update warning option checked, click
Yes to enable data updates. See
To configure edit warnings for more information.
