Configuring Rules and Rule Sets

1. In the IDE, click Analyze > Micro Focus Code Analysis Manager.
2. Use the check boxes in the Enabled and Shortcut for the rules and rulesets to control which rules are enabled and which rules and rule sets are available on the context menu options for the files and projects.
3. Use the field to add import new rules and rule sets into the IDE.

To import new rules and rule sets:

1. In the Micro Focus Code Analysis Manager dialog box, click Browse next to Folder for additional rules definition files.
2. Navigate to and select the folder that stores the files with your custom rules, then click Select Folder.
3. Click Update.

   This loads the rules in the IDE.

4. Review the list of rule sets in the Name column to view the imported rules.
5. Enable any check boxes in the Enabled and Shortcut columns as necessary.
