An
Micro Focus Enterprise Server for .NET CICS region that will handle incoming EXCI requests needs the following configuration:
- A CICS REST web service that will execute the CPMI transaction, with appropriate parameters. See
Configuring a REST Web Service for EXCI.
- The system
CPMI transaction configured to invoke the system program
dfhzcpmi and installed in the region. A suitable PCT entry is included in the DFHISC group in the sample resource definitions supplied
with
Micro Focus Enterprise Server for .NET.
To configure a native
Enterprise Server CICS region for EXCI, refer to the documentation for that product.
