You can configure and deploy VSAM data files as data stores, so that they are available to the applications running in regions.
There are three configuration options for configuring a VSAM data store:
- Import a VSAM files as an Enterprise Server for .NET Data Store.
- Access VSAM files on a native Enterprise Server Fileshare server.
- Store the file on disk, and configure the location, so that the region can access it.
Note: You configure and administer the VSAM data using the
Micro Focus Enterprise Server for .NET configuration and administration user interface that runs in the Microsoft Management Console ( MMC).
