Enable the Create Tables Privilege

  1. In the Catalog Explorer pane, expand the User Groups and Users node.
  2. Double-click the group for which privileges are to be assigned.

    The Privileges tab for the selected group is displayed.

  3. Select the Tables tab.

    The table definitions for the current database are displayed:

  4. For each table, select the appropriate tick-boxes (Create Table or With Grant), or leave the tick-boxes clear so that the group is unable to create table instances.
    Note: Create Table enables members of the group selected in step 2 to add, edit, and delete table instances between the Relativity table definition and the physical COBOL data file, and With Grant enables group members to also grant or revoke the privilege for other groups.
  5. Click Save to Catalog to save the changes; alternatively, click Revert to revert back to the last available saved privileges.
