SMTP Functions Reference

The WebSMTP functions are a complete implementation of the Simple Mail Transfer Protocol.

注: All host and e-mail addresses used for electronic processing have to be enclosed in angular brackets (< and >), for example, "John Jones <john.jones@company.com>".

WebSmtpCommand Function
Sends a command string to an SMTP server.
WebSmtpConnect Function
Connects to an SMTP server.
WebSmtpData Function
Sends the mail message using a user-defined mail header.
WebSmtpDataEx Function
Sends the mail message using a standard mail header with the most important arguments: sender, recipient, subject.
WebSmtpExpand Function
Asks the mail server to confirm that the argument identifies a mailing list.
WebSmtpHello Function
Sends a HELO command to the server.
WebSmtpHelloEx Function
Sends an EHLO command to the server.
WebSmtpHelp Function
Asks the server to respond with a help message.
WebSmtpMail Function
Initiates a mail transaction.
WebSmtpNoop Function
Used to determine whether the server is available.
WebSmtpQuit Function
Commits the mail transaction.
WebSmtpRecipient Function
Sets the recipient’s address.
WebSmtpReset Function
Resets the mail servers state.
WebSmtpResponse Function
Retrieves an SMTP response message after sending a command using WebTcpipSend.
WebSmtpSend Function
Initiates a mail transaction.
WebSmtpSendAndMail Function
Initiates a mail transaction.
WebSmtpSendOrMail Function
Initiates a mail transaction.
WebSmtpSendData Function
Sends a data string to an SMTP server.
WebSmtpShutdown Function
Closes the connection to the mail server.
WebSmtpTurn Function
Lets the recipient reply with an OK message.
WebSmtpVerify Function
Asks the mail server to confirm that the argument identifies a user.
