The RESET TRACE Statement

The RESET TRACE statement disables the tracing of section and paragraph names on the screen.

General Rules

  1. The COBOL Compiler directive TRACE must be set to on to allow execution of the statement. When the directive is not set or when no previous READY TRACE is in effect, RESET TRACE is documentary only.
  2. VSC2  RESET TRACE is accepted, but is treated as documentary only.
