The following restrictions apply when installing
Visual COBOL with the default version of Eclipse shipped with it:
- Eclipse requires the 64-bit Java 8.
- Eclipse does not support Java 6 or Java 7.
Visual COBOL can still use Java 7 to compile and run JVM COBOL code.
