Before you start developing applications with Visual COBOL for Eclipse on UNIX you need to set the environment. We recommend that you use the cobsetenv script to do this:
. /opt/microfocus/VisualCOBOL/bin/cobsetenv
Note that cobsetenv is only compatible with POSIX-like shells, such as bash, ksh, or XPG4 sh. It is not compatible with C-shell or pre-XPG4 Bourne shell.
