Vision provides a series of utilities that enable you to manipulate Vision files from the command line.
Each utility is available in a 32-bit and a 64-bit version, located in
%ProgramFiles(x86)%\Micro Focus\Visual COBOL for Visual Studio 2012\binn and
\binn64 respectively.
Commands
- vutil32
- Rebuilds a file that has become corrupt, or one that contains a large number of deleted records that you want to remove from
the file.
- vio32
- Enables you to collect a group of files together into archives, and allows you to extract some or all of these files from
these archives.
- logutil32
- Enables you to examine and edit an ACUCOBOL-GT transaction log file.
- acusort
- Enables you to sort or merge Vision files.
