The
Data Tools product currently has the following known limitations:
- There is no support for opening and editing local files. Any files opened and modified by the file service must be accessed
from a data set on a remote server that is configured in advance.
- You cannot create new data files using
file service.
- There is no
Filter functionality.
- There is no
Search/Replace functionality.
- There is no
Save As option available. Any changes you make must be saved to overwrite the existing file.
- There is no support for line sequential files.
- There is no support for relative files.
