A COBOL JVM Delegate type is a data type that refers to method. The delegate must have a signature and return type compatible
               with the method being referenced. 
               	 
            
 
            	 
            To create a COBOL JVM Delegate type: 
               	 
            
 
            	 
             
               		
               - Click 
                  		  . 
                  		  
                  This opens the 
                     			 New dialog box. 
                     		  
                   
- Click 
                  		  , and then click 
                  		  Next. 
                  		  
                  This opens the 
                     			 New COBOL JVM Delegate dialog box. 
                     		  
                   
- In the 
                  		  Source folder field, type the path to the source folder you want to use. Alternatively, click 
                  		  Browse to navigate to a source folder. 
                  		  
                  Note: By default, the 
                     			 Source folder field contains the source folder of the element that was selected when the wizard was started. 
                     		  
                   
- In the 
                  		  Package field, type the path to the package to be used. Alternatively, click 
                  		  Browse to choose a package. 
                  		  
                  Note: Micro Focus recommends that you do not use the default package. 
                     		  
                   
- In the 
                  		  Name field, type a name for the COBOL JVM Delegate type. 
                  		
               
- Select an access modifier for the new COBOL JVM Delegate type. This can be either 
                  		  public or 
                  		  internal. 
                  		
               
- Click 
                  		  Finish. 
                  		  
                  This creates a COBOL file and opens it in the COBOL editor.
