dbcs_text_enable_clip

Specifies whether the font is clipped to the font height supplied by Microsoft Text APIs rather than overwriting pixels beyond the font height when running in a GUI window (runw).

Restriction: These tunables are supported for native COBOL only.

Syntax:

Parameters:

TRUE	Ensures that the font is clipped to the font height supplied by Microsoft Text APIs
FALSE	Pixels can be overwritten beyond the font height

Properties:

Default:	FALSE
IDE equivalent:	None

Comments:

Some Microsoft DBCS fonts write to a height greater than the font height supplied, consequently could corrupt things such as the use of OVERLINE; therefore, enable this tunable to avoid this issue.
