Restriction: This topic applies only when the Enterprise Server feature is enabled.
- In the table of servers on the Home page of Enterprise Server Administration, click
Edit to the left of the row for the server for which you want to change the number of instances.
The
Server >
Properties >
General page is displayed.
- Specify the new number of instances in
Service execution processes.
- Click
OK.
Note: If the status of the server is "Started", you can also change the number of service execution processes by clicking
Details in the
Current status column, then on the Enterprise
Server >
Control page, specifying the new number in
Requested service execution processes and clicking
Update. The new processes will take a few seconds to appear in the list. However, any change you make here is temporary only; after
you stop the server, the number of processes reverts to the number set on the
Server >
Properties >
General page.
